Surprise!! I just returned home from a 3-week stay in Michigan and... I wasn’t alone!
I returned with a new furry friend in tow.
Actually, he had me in tow, because...I finally got my guide dog!!
You will not want to miss today’s podcast as I talk about my experience during training, open up about the challenges and triumphs, and, of course, introduce you to my adorable guide dog!
Today on the Finding Light podcast, we chat with special guest, Paige McLemore, on the topic of forgiveness.
At the age of 18 years-old, Paige lost her 19 year-old sister, Lee, after she was tragically killed at her job.
For years, Paige was mad at God and felt incredibly alone. Thankfully, Jesus found her right where she was and took a hold of her heart. Paige was prompted by Jesus to forgive the man who killed her sister, and we pray her story of grace will touch your heart today.
Listen to her story now!
Today on the Finding Light podcast, we break down the false-definitions of wellness this world tells women they should strive for, and unfold Biblical truths that provide a foundation for wellness based on the love of Jesus with our special guest, Gena Anderson.
Gena is a nurse practitioner, Bible teacher, blogger, and author of The Well Woman: A Journey to Wellness Through Loving Jesus.
Listen to her beautiful insights!
✨ The Finding Light podcast has some BIG news today! ✨
Listen in as Erica and I both update y’all on what God is doing in our lives.
Be sure to listen until the end because there is one really big announcement you don’t want to miss!
On today’s podcast, Erica and I were blessed to chat with one of our very best friends, Courtney Allen.
In 2019, at just 19 years old, Courtney was diagnosed with an incredibly rare form of cancer. Since then, she has undergone numerous treatment options with grace and strength only the Lord can provide.
Courtney shares with us what she has learned through her journey and how God is giving her joy in the midst of a scary prognosis. 🦋
Today’s podcast was special because Seth and I had the opportunity to interview my good friend, Denise Millette! 😊
She is a wife, mother, teacher, and she is also blind! She has found light in the darkest of circumstances, and I know y’all are really going to be blessed hearing her story.
On today’s podcast, Erica and I discuss with special guest, Melissa Hill, that sometimes our biggest blessings can come out of our hardest hurdles in life. 💛
Melissa was diagnosed with Crohn’s disease at the age of 20 while living out of her dream of playing college softball. She found herself having to give up her dream and wondering what she would do with her life.
Despite two major surgeries, Melissa persevered, graduated from college, got married, and began her career. 🥰
Today’s podcast is a continuation of a conversation Erica and I recently had with one of my very best friends, Stephanie Shelton. She joined us for a discussion on infertility, loss, and trials, and how, through it all, she has learned to keep her faith and trust in God! 💛
Trust us, you don’t want to miss part 1 of this amazing story! Be sure to check it out before listening to part 2.
Today’s podcast was super special to me because one of my very best friends, Stephanie Shelton, has joined us for a conversation on infertility, loss, and trials, and how, through it all, she has learned to keep her faith and trust in God! 💛
If you enjoy listening to Stephanie’s story, please be sure to subscribe to the Finding Light podcast because part 2 of her story will be coming out next week!
Chase McDaniel was diagnosed with cancer two weeks before his 17th birthday.
While Chase was battling cancer, he lived his life full of joy, the kind of joy that can only be found through the Lord. He relied on his faith in God to make it through every second.
Chase passed away on November 16, 2019, but God continues to use his life to influence and impact people.
The McDaniel family founded the Chase the Victory foundation in honor of Chase to continue to share with others what it means to Chase the Victory, share hope, and spread kindness.
She’s known as “the paralyzed bride that walked down the aisle” but there’s so much more to Ally Grizzard’s story!
A little over 5 years ago, Ally was in a car accident that changed her life forever. She shares with us how she was able to find the strength & determination to move forward despite facing immense physical and emotional challenges.
Listen in to see how Ally has allowed the Lord to stand for her.
On today’s podcast, we talk about one of mine and Erica’s favorite things… TRAVEL!
You might be thinking, “How do you enjoy traveling without sight?”
Good question!
